Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute monthly HSE reports, presentations, HSE topic, that provide employees with workplace injury statistics, new initiatives and system changes.
• Liaise with the entire HSE team and with the overall project team during the entire project execution period and ensure implementation of HSE standard.
• Ensure adequate means of distributing and communicating Health, Safety & welfare information obtained for the HSE, Legislative and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rules and regulations of labor protection, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and fire protection.
• Verification and evaluation of the effectiveness of the EPC Contractor’s HSE management system during project implementation
• Participation in safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, Hazardous Area Classification, QRA, etc., as well as monitoring the implementation of identified non-compliances based on reviews
• Monitoring of compliance by the EPC Contractor with requirements in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment protection in force in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the requirements of the PAD Contract
• Keeping record of incidents and accidents in accordance with the Company's procedure. Immediate submission of information regarding Contractor’s or the EPC Contractor’s cases of an emergency, natural disaster, accident, incident, fire, which may go into emergency, accident and fire (including without injuries), and fatal traffic accident.
• Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
• Support the Project Manager in ensuring HSE compliance onshore and offshore and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of business and vessel operations.
• Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
• Provide support to the dept on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives eg. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc
• Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client requirements
• Ensure permit to work process is implemented and all works being carried out are with a valid permit to work.
